I thought it was interesting too. I was glad i stumbled upon it as i don’t usually follow the LA times. I guess headlines about people people trying to compromise and get along aren’t as clickable as the more hyperbolic stuff. (Like the one about the food Ahamadinejad’s private chef having cooked for him supposedly reeking with such a foul odor that guests fled the hotel. *eyeroll*)

Maybe I should have changed the headline to something like “In old Istanbul quarter, Islamits and secular Turks engage in steel cage death match”. ;o)

BTW, I found a really nice article the other day written by a retired Anglican clergyman, and I saved it because I thought you might enjoy it. I don’t really want to post it here as I’m very busy this week and am not in the mood deal with anyone trolling it. I’ll send it to you right now, while I’m still thinking about it.
