I actually think Portman is a proxy for Bristol. Sarah Palin is the Huckster’s biggest rival for social conservative voters. I doubt anyone who heard this comment from him didn’t think of Bristol Palin. If social conservatives believe that unmarried mothers are destroying American, than Bristol is apart of that destruction.
