DeLay encourages GOP in Katy to take active role in government

Former congressman and house majority leader Tom DeLay shared his vision for America with the Republican Women’s Club of Katy members last Thursday.

With the fervor of a Southern preacher, DeLay made a passionate case for a spiritual awakening in America.

“I’m running around the country talking about this spiritual revival,” said DeLay. “You can’t look at the history of this country in any way shape or form and not understand that God created this country through our Founding Fathers, because it was their worldview and their education and who they were and their belief in God that was transformed and manifested into the Revolutionary War, the Declaration of Independence and the constitution. That is God creating this country.”
