Charles is not the only website owner with spambot problems. Russian spammers had just about shut my website down these last few days with WordPress comment spam until I blocked a whole range of IP addresses just now.

Still have work to do, but at least now I can access the admin page to try to clean things up. First step, turn off commenting for now, then see why Akismet is not doing its job.
