Here’s a question, perhaps seems off topic—-what would you say if I told you that Rick Perry had stated that “…victory had been achieved” by the United States in Vietnam, and had continued with “Today, we have two Vietnams; side-by-side, North and South, exchanging and working. We may not agree with all that North Vietnam is doing, but they are living in peace. I would look for a better human rights record for North Vietnam, but they are living side by side. …”

Would that have any bearing on your estimate of his general acumen?
