American Chihuahua breeders have selected for what once upon a time was actually considered a birth defect: overly large, round heads and short muzzles. Those dogs tend to have sinus problems and really aren’t very bright. It’s terrible, but sudden popularity is one of the worst things that can happen to any dog breed.

I hate that kind of breeding. The most ridiculous extent is Pugs. They cannot reproduce without human intervention.
