Heh, the Heap Trick show I saw on the original national tour was at The Agora, which as you know became the Newport. One of the oldest and to me great concert venues in America. Of course, being right across the street from Ohio State University with it’s many tens of thousands of students makes for ready crowds.

Damn, the memories in that building are great. I probably saw at least 100 shows there.

Yep—it was the Agora during my “formative years.” At the 1991 concert, I was probably the oldest person there by about 20 years, and mainly went to support my student. I looked him up last night—he now works in music licensing for a small label in CA (and is almost 50, which makes me feel really old!)
