I tried coaxing but it doesn’t work very well. Most people can’t be persuaded. They are hell bent on continuing the insanity. This July 4th many conservatives are going to spend the day at Ron Paul rallies with Truthers, and White Nationalists. Many know what they’re doing, others don’t care. There’s nothing that can be said to stop them.

Maybe not, but let people die trying. Noonan’s article was heading in the right direction, but the philosophy coming through from your posts is that she’s wasting her time. You and Sharmuta are sounding so bleak on the subject, which I grant can be quite bleak. But all the “nothing can be done,” to sum it up, is defeatist, no? Sometimes a voice a reason occasionally breaks though the clamor.
