Hell, ‘bout a month ago, I remember saying that Perry was the mark to beat. That it was going to end up being a two-man race between him and Romney over who got which half of the GOP ticket.

Then, in the course of two debates, Romney spanked his ass hard on stage and turned the Great White Hope into just another dope. I’m utterly failing to see what will make Christie any different.

I hate to say this, but I have to give Romney a lot of credit for helping to bring that man down. It was a beautiful thing to watch. Even if the worst of Perry’s wounds were self-inflicted. Heh… have a heart. :)
