I lived south of Tucson for awhile in the early 90’s. When I got my first apt the manager was explaining the swamp cooler. I had never heard of such a thing.

Yeah, they were new to me when I got here too. I love ‘em. Air conditioning is too intense, a swamp cooler is soothing, especially when the humidity is at 5%. It went up to 20% yesterday, felt kind of muggy. It’s weird how you can smell a little bit moisture after being so dry.
