I feel so left out! I missed the dustup farther upthread!

Well, allow me to retort:

1. Things which can be disproved are not true.

2. Things which cannot be disproved, and for which much supportive evidence exists are probably true.

3. Things which cannot be disproved, and for which NO supportive evidence exists still may be true.

The existence of a god or gods falls in the third category.

And some of us don’t require 100% certainty to come to a conclusion firm enough to be acted on as if it were known to be true.
