As for my mother’s side of the family, HA, good luck. She’s from a small town in Kentucky, and if you do back more than two generations, you find the family tree begins to turn into a fractal. Family legend is we’re related to either the Hatfields or the McCoys, but nobody’s had the stomach to really do the research.
