So in Florida, I can go out my door, see some guy that I don’t like or find “suspicious” and get in his face. If that person responds to my aggressive behavior I’m allowed to shoot him by claiming I feared a felony assault was coming.

I believe you are misinterpreting the law, Gus. I cite the linked piece to support my assertion.
