And that’s exactly it. More and more, as time has been going by, I just kinda clam up when political conversations come up. At the very least, fishfolk and I agree on one thing: Trump is an absolute dick. If they vote in the Indiana primary, I suspect they will be voting for Rubio. I, of course, would never say this to them, but I would’ve voted on the Democratic side of the MN primary.

I just don’t really talk politics IRL, outside of mr. klys and (occasionally and it’s never a good idea) getting into it with either my mother or my in-laws. (And I’m doing my absolute best to completely avoid that.)

In part because it is so hard when you realize how completely counter the beliefs run to the values that you were raised with and thought they believed, and there’s very little that can be said sometimes to try and make it “okay.”

You guys are my relief valve.
