There has been this thread of America for quite some time. It’s not a new thing. Perhaps what we’re seeing today is a dilapidated Christianity in America not having the moral compass to fight back. My Facebook stream is conflicted on this part, with some of the more “liberal” Christians quite appalled at Trump and his supporters, while the fundamentalists seem quite fine with Trump’s rule.
