I can’t recall where I heard this, but it was suggested that the Trump criminal trial is going to take longer than it otherwise should because Trump refused to let his lawyers stipulate to certain facts, instead requiring prosecutors enter them into the record through witnesses and corroboration.

It certainly is a strategy, but not one that will work with much success. If he’s trying to get the jurors to snooze off, he’s not doing a good job. Prosecutors are making their case, and Trump’s lawyers aren’t introducing reasonable doubt (their only job - they don’t have to prove anything, just that there’s reasonable doubt as to his guilt).
