The value is what they market will pay. Nobody else was bidding on Chrysler’s debt. Now it’s next to worthless as the company heads to bankruptcy. They might not get anything depending on the judge. The government is assisting the bankruptcy so I wouldn’t be surprised if Obama finds a way to shut these pricks out completely. Good for him. They were trying to milk the taxpayers. Fuck ‘em.
