I dunno, I think if the founding fathers were here they’d be appalled by all the people with no property and no education being allowed to vote. Weren’t they a bit elitist themselves? As I recall originally you had to be a land owner to vote. Wasn’t the whole purpose of the electoral college to keep the unwashed thousands from picking someone unacceptable to the powers that be?
