It does look pretty.
But no matter how pretty it is or isn’t, it would be much more fun to go shopping for thread than for drip irrigation components and stuff to make a new bird bath.

Can you incorporate drip irrigation components into the bird bath design?

My father did that when living in “high desert” out near Bend, Oregon. The concrete birdbath got constant re-fill using a drip irrigation hose that ran up an adjacent juniper tree and then dripped water down 3’ into the bird bath. (Which, given the dry conditions, was very popular with the local bird and bee population. He also scattered millet seed under a few of the juniper and there would be scads of California Quail hanging out on occasion.)

One species of finch would hang out on a small branch and then fly over and intercept the individual falling drops. Seemed a fairly energetic way to get a drink.
