Doesn’t matter. Pence’s apologists are saying that the empty boxes are not the ones Pence was delivering. Ok, we don’t know, so give them that one. But Pence’s assistant told Pence that the other boxes were empty. There is no reason to have empty cardboard boxes in the van except to make the delivery look more impressive than it was. At some point they loaded the van up and someone said “damn, it’s half empty, best put some empty boxes in to make it look full”.
