Or ~$39,000 (Medicaid eligibility threshold). Or $28,290, which is federal poverty level.

I still think that any change in Congressional pay must come with mandatory random drug tests for all elected officials and cabinet level officials throughout the Federal Government. It’s the only way to make sure there aren’t lazy moochers who are feeding at the taxpayer teat who are spending our money on drugs/booze.
