Actually, if you want to blame Clinton, than you can blame him for the 2000 peace talks with Arafat and Begin and Arafat and Rabin. Talks that contributed to Rabin’s assassination and getting Arafat the peace prize.

And even then, the U.S. and Israel was willing to do anything and everything to make peace with the Arabs. So while again, in hindsight, I could blame Clinton for this, he thought he was doing the right thing. He thought he could convince Arafat to stop the terror. He never realized how insidious Arab thinking is on this issue. 20 years would have to pass before we realized this.

As a side note, it was Arafat who saved the Jews because if he would have accepted Clinton’s proposal for all of Gaza and more importantly 95% of Jerusalem, Israel may not be standing today. Arafat, the greedy bastard he was, walked out of those talks with nothing, thank goodness.
