Every Sheriff’s deputy in Eagle County, CO (a quite wealthy resort county in which I reside) has an AR-15 or a short-barrel 12-gauge in their cruiser at all times. Me? I think it’s a waste of money because crime rates are exceptionally low, seems excessive.
