Some family friends are Buddhist, and the wife invited Mrs. FBW to a chanting session. They were chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo, and Mrs. FBW reports that after a while, what she started hearing was “I-am-now-holding-a-gun, I-am-now-holding-a-gun, I-am-now-holding-a-gun”.

For me it was helpful to learn about Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, and Buddhism in 9th grade. It was part of our world history course. Not sure if they still do it but it was helpful for me since I learned that Nirvana was more than just the band of the 90’s.
