Well I read that article and frankly think it’s as good a way to stimulate the economy as giving a handout to the UAW Big 3 who continue to lose money at an astounding rate and will keep coming back for more.
And it sure as hell beats “shoring up” some of the news media.

If anything has softened me when it comes to welfare programs (actual safety-net recipients), it is this bailout. Trillions of dollars wasted. Why can’t we help the most (truly) needy among us? I find it difficult to comprehend bailing out banks and auto manufacturers to the tune of billions upon billions and not assist the indigent population living in squalor amongst us.
I’m turning into a liberal. Help!
