You’re serious aren’t you? It’s mindboggling to me. It’s so damn unimportant to me. I wipe my feet on the way in and the place really doesn’t get that dirty. Once a month or so I break out the 6-10 yr old vacuum and rake the carpets. No big deal. Put it this way - I’m not thinking about installing central vacuuming.

I’m guessing you don’t have pets? Dealing with shedding fur makes vacuums more important.
