Wow. In other words, you were totally wrong, completely wrong, and you just don’t care. You don’t care about the facts, you don’t care that there was a bailout, it doesn’t even matter to you that you were wrong.

First of all: There wasn’t a bailout because the stock market was failing. There was a bailout because the credit markets were freezing up. Money was ceasing to flow.

Second of all: Your claim was there was no bailout. There was a bailout of the S&L banks. Under George Bush I.

Seriously, do most people just prefer to forget the S&L crisis, or what? I barely hear anyone reference it.
