It’s something to keep an eye on. Lefty “establishment” outlets like DKos and MSNBC are trying to tamp it down but it’s entirely possible that Rand Paul could foster some cross over appeal from grass roots progressives. It’s a mixed blessing; it can potentially siphon off some votes but it does unload some of the loons on the other party.
