Branching out a little bit on the topic of cars, my mom’s first ride was a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass. 350 Rocket, that girl could get up and go. She misses that car. My dad plans to buy her one (or a Chevelle) and get me to help him fix it up for her.

Dad drove his dad’s ‘72 Chevy C20 (3/4 ton pickup). He bought it from his parents later on and he keeps it on the farm, with 40,000 original miles. It’s one of the reasons why I am a bowtie believer to this very day.
