I have read your post five times- really- and I think I have an idea what it means. But I’m not clear.

Here is clarity.

The United States is the only country in the Western World that does not have socialized health care.

Remarkably enough, those that have socialized health seem to be generally happy with their health delivery systems. It has not ruined their economies.

Perpetually having double-digit unemployment, flat GDP growth, and having to have their defense underwritten by us doesn’t sound like a booming economy to me.

And “The United States is the only country in the Western World that does not have socialized health care.” is not clarity. It’s called Argumentum ad Populum… otherwise known as the bandwagon fallacy. I’ll tell you what any parent tells their child. “If everyone else was jumping off a cliff would you too?”
