D&D actually has a sequel out for that, which offers the players a chance to destroy Acerak forever.

As a note, the final part of the sequel does indeed take place in the Tomb of Dead Gods and does indeed feature an aspect of Orcus, from which I derived the character of Dorkus to mock Stalker ‘Daedalus’ AKA Rodan.

Played the first scenario, DMd a party thru most of the second before they died poorly.
