You can get throwbacks at at huge discount at Odd Lots. I like the burgundy ones with the fringe… sometimes the other shoppers are really predatory, too.

Right. Isn’t Odd Lots kind of like the fossil trove from by-gone eras, er sales cycles of merchandise. Sort of like the La Brea tar pit of the retail world. They couldn’t get any traction on the steep slope at Walmart and ended up sinking to the Odd Lot level where they’re preserserved by lack of sales volume oxygen to be recovered by discount seeking “archeologists”.

OK I think I stretched that analogy to the point it snapped back and hit me in the head.
