I have been going to live shows since before I had a drivers license and still do…I’ve been to every kind of festival, arena and club imaginable…it’s what I do…there is barely enough money to force me to see Journey in a football stadium…I was way past that years ago…the best music is found at small festivals and clubs, road houses and saloons…it was always that way…unless you dig Sammy Hager and the like

I’d have to agree with you there.

As for Zappa and The Dead, I saw them in relatively intimate conditions/venues. Like I said, this was the late 60s.
