But is your largess wrestled out of you when you pay other federal or state taxes, that pay for roads, schools, firefighters, etc.?

These are public goods that promote the general welfare, right?

“we” already do, for the Medicare/ Medicaid programs. “I” pay for those as well as my own health insurance
