Greets and saluts from the NYC metro area. Got to travel and see friends this weekend, which meant going on the NJ Turnpike. Noticed the usual assortment of campaign ads (as well as anti-evolution nonsense on the PA turnpike extension into NJ).

Also noticed that between exits 9 and 8A, someone posted a sign saying “Vote American - Romney/Ryan 2012”. Subtext of Obama not being an American; un-American; anti-American; birtherism. Take your pick (any/all).

There’s also the subtitle I see on all the Mitt Romney yard signs around here: Believe in America. As opposed to what? Kenya?
