First time I ever heard of “roof knocking.” Kind of weird. I think there’s a time and place for wars sometimes but not in this case. Not within a civilian population such as Gaza. No matter how hideous Hamas and other elements might be. It’s horrible. Was looking at some images earlier. We can’t bring back the dead. And yes, many have brought up Syria as a comparison but the difference here is that it’s Israel. We expect this kind of brutality from people like Assad, but not Netanyahu.

Israel is doing tremendous damage in Gaza, but also doing tremendous damage to their image. This invasion is similar to past conflicts, but the brutality seems much worse this time and the Netanyahu government seems more callous and uncaring. Some of the stuff that’s been tweeted by the IDF account has been indefensible, for example.
