OT:My mechanic just called.
It is going to cost $862 to fix the ac in my van.
I die.

Mine is on the verge of dying.

The replacement part costs $12. The estimated labor? $750, to rip out the entire dashboard, put in the $12 part, and rebuild everything.

My sympathies.
