Even 2008 - the candidates were largely sensible moderates. Obama, Clinton, Biden, Richardson.
Obama & Clinton had the party split, but the base wasn’t getting much blue meat - no single payer & no punitive tax hikes on the rich.

Clinton and Richardson are crooks, Biden’s an idiot, and BO is an inexperienced neophyte…from the outcome of that gang, don’t think for a second that this next election is a wrap for the donks
