Not to mention the idiotic misuse of the term:

Renege means to halt an action, revoke, renounce. Therefore, ‘don’t renege’ means to ‘do not un-elect.’

It means the exact opposite of what they want it to mean. But they got the ‘nig’ in there, that’s all that matters.
