1m+ attended the parade for the Yankees down the Canyon of Heroes in Manhattan. That number is similar for many of the recent ticker tape parades in NYC in recent years (Yankees, Giants, Mets, Rangers).

Sturgis gets anywhere from 350-600,000 people during its August rally.

I doubt that this will get anywhere near the Sturgis figures, let alone figures for NYC ticker tape parades.

Don’t forget Woodstock! Over 3.5 million attended, just ask them. Although actual reports say there was around 500,000 or less.
