The other day I lamented how stupid a story was that popped up (in the SCMP) about the North Atlantic overturning circulation when some writer goes off about “The Day After Tomorrow”.

Well guess what, here’s an article from yesterday on MSNBC covering the same thing:

Climate scientists fear ‘Day After Tomorrow’ scenario

No. No they don’t.

This time the writer for MSNBC is one “Tony Dokoupil”. I don’t know if that is another pen-name for the SCMP writer, or if he’s just plagiarizing the SCMP.

Anyway, it’s stupid.
