Some people just want to be persecuted. Saying there is a God Is opinion, it’s not an objective fact. Sigh I understand maybe why the kid was confused but her parents should know fucking better.

Her parents have probably been listening to Fox and Friends going on about the War on Christianity in their country and saw this as validation of their viewpoint.

And these people probably also see God not only as an undeniable fact, but as a fact that has to be imposed on everyone through legislation and education policy.
