They’re pretty extreme. What I also find notable is the very large number of followers people who engage in mindless Obama-bashing all the time have. There’s an enormous number of tweets devoted to spreading hate, anger, and finding like-“minded” people to gripe with. I’m not talking about people that might discuss an article from a conservative point of view or link to intelligent things to read: reading seems to have been replaced by ranting.

Twitter is sort of tailor made for that stuff, really short, angry bites of vitriol that get retweeted and spread around like a virus.
