Tell Naso Tang. he’s the one insistent on using “fundamentalist” even though he knows it’s not accurate.

I learned a long time ago, right here on LGF, that it is an often misunderstood and misused term.

Wanting to get “back to basics” or fundamentals means different things to different people. For some it means the Golden Rule and just trying to raise their kids, stay married and out of debt.

For others it means turning back the clock to some primitive version of life and society.

Most of the people I’ve met that consider themselves “Fundamentalists” are just trying to get thru life.

I learned the term Whacko works so much better when describing the crazies of every flavor. It’s just so much easier than qualifying every term and label.
