I have little or no sympathy for them, largely because to me, Trump is transparently a con man, obviously unqualified for the job, aggressively ignorant, and thoroughly corrupt. This was obvious before he even came down the escalator to announce his candidacy. I’ve read that con men say the easiest people to con are the ones who believe they deserve something for nothing. That fits the Trump voters to a T.

Fuck ‘em.

They’re obsessed about the idea of other people getting free stuff, not due to objecting to free stuff, but that other people get it.

They revealed this when many of them said that they felt that immigrants were cutting in line, as if everyone is waiting for hand-outs. They feel entitled, rather than taking responsibility for their lives.
