We could be talking about what types of civil disobedience are justifiable. We could be talking, as some have tried, about the wisdom of blocking city streets as a form of protest. We could be talking about what kind of police response is most appropriate. We could even be talking about whether the violent element of OWS is characteristic of the group in some significant way.

The fact that the hippie-obsessed have expressed no real interest in such dialog is what reveals the exploitative nature of their focus on injured cops, crime in a park in Oakland, etc.
