re: #239 Rightwingconspirator

Well many people said theses kids would have to get off the grass and start doing something. Here it is. Marches, sit down occupations, passive resistance and a certain determination. Get ready folks, this is what peaceful protest looks like. And yes they do now have offices. Still not co opted by a party or a union. Still not rioting.

And it’s all in issues we all (more or less) want to see resolved. The goals are less controversial than anti war. Who would have thought that would happen? Protests for a fair balance of power and fair treatment from banks. As we see that just enrages the critics. They have no big issue to scream about. The best they got is lies and whining about costs like police overtime. Or a new lawn. “Oh no we gotta get sod!!” Poor things.

The college kids, from the beginning, have had an identifiable agenda, and have not been doing damage, except possibly to the lawns.

Also, at Berkeley, they dragged out some pianos to their campsite, which I cannot fail to approve of.

I don’t entirely agree that their invading a local BofA branch made much sense, and the one who peed in the corner there needs some talking to, but I can actually support this because I know what the hell they’re talking about.
