Israel was happy to supply them. Iran was going to use them on Iraq. Iran was almost losing that war, and frankly that would have been bad.

keeping the fight going until they exhausted themselves seemed like a good idea at the time.

As far as people here calling you names, all I can say is that if you can’t stand the heat, get the fuck out of the kitchen. This is a big boy blog. If the name calling offends your delicate sensibilities, maybe you should consider spending more time at Oprah’s site…I hear that it’s filled with positivity, vague spirituality (but no dogma) and lots of people who won’t call you names.
