Well, NYC is currently in the midst of a heat wave that will last for a few more hours (temps in the 50s) before plummeting into single digits (below zero with wind chills).

If it were any more severe a temperature drop, it could double for the Day After Tomorrow insta-freeze scene of NYC.

With all the rain and snow that still puddled and stacked up around the area, I wouldn’t be surprised that alot of the region turns into a skating rink tonight. I only hope that things have a chance to dry out fast enough that the cold doesn’t set in freezing everything.
