Our town is perched over the eastern FL panhandle. We’ll be getting a series of small storms from the Ida backwash for the rest of the day. Spin-off tornadoes are the only threat.

Meanwhile on the Left Coast, Hurricane Nora continues to move up the Mexican coast, with the eye just offshore. Projections by the National Hurricane Center show it moving into Arizona as a tropical depression, though the discussion page says it’s possible the storm could turn inland sooner.
